Basic Rundown
Three Game Options: Big-O, Dramaha, or 2-7 Triple Draw
Each player will start with 5 cards. The player UTG gets to look at their hand and choose the game. If the UTG player folds, the game selection will go to the next player and so on.
Big-O will be the default game selection if the UTG player is unable to decide within a reasonable amount of time at the dealer’s discretion. (decision should be made in under 20 seconds)
Dramaha is a Split Pot Game between 5-Card DRAW and OMAHA.
Each Player starts with 5 cards down, betting round, flop, betting round, discard and draw round, turn card, betting round, river card, betting round – Showdown. Half the pot goes to the best 5 cards in the hole, half the pot goes to the best 5 card hand using exactly 2 cards from the player’s hand and 3 cards from the community board cards.
2-7 Triple Draw
Each player starts with 5 cards and will have three opportunities to discard and draw new cards to make the lowest possible hand. There are four betting rounds: before the first draw and after each draw then showdown.
In deuce-to-seven lowball (sometimes known as Kansas City lowball), in most respects, the worst conventional poker hand wins. Straights and flushes count against you, crippling the value of a hand. The ace is used only as a high card. Therefore, the best hand is 7-5-4-3-2, not all of the same suit. The hand 5 4 3 2 A is not considered to be a straight, but an ace-5 high, so it beats other ace-high hands and pairs, but loses to king-high. A pair of aces is the highest pair, so it loses to any other pair.
